Nicole also had a party with her Reading Friend Dallin. Each week, Dallin and some other kids from a close middle school came over to be someone's reading buddy. I thought this was such a great idea and Nicole loved it!!
Nicole also had a water party to celebrate the last days of school. She LOVED it. She got to wear her swim suit and bring her Dora towel. What a special treat for her...Nicole LOVES the water.
Nicole with all her school buddies. She made great friends this year in school!!Kaylee's last week of school was called "Camp Learned-A-lot." She had a great week of camping out in the classroom (the desks were replaced with a tent, blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals). They read stories, played, ate yummy camp-like snacks including smores, worms in dirt, etc. YUMMY!!!
One of the projects was a making a Habitat. Kaylee made a monkey out of clay and Monkeree lived in a rainforest. She loved her waterfall made from aluminum and sparkles.
Kaylee's teacher felt bad about missing Kaylee's piano recital so she allowed Kaylee to bring in a keyboard and play her piece for her classmates. She did great and surprised me once again with her confidence. She feels so comfortable behind the piano. I hope she keeps this up!!
FIELD DAY FUN!!Once again Field Day was freezing, but we had alot of fun. I loved Field Day and I wanted to share in the excitement. Kaylee loved it and it was fun for me to see her with her friends.
Kaylee loved showing off her little sister and helped Taylor participate in some of the games. Kaylee got a music piano note painted on her face and Taylor wanted a heart.

On your mark, get so, GOOOO!! Kaylee improved this year because she actually participated in some of the races. Last year, she sat out most of them... but this year she added a couple more to her list of "Not too scary."

As we waited for our turn, I would find more and more kiddos in the comfort of our blanket. It was nice and warm under this blanket...thanks again to Shauna for letting us borrow it for awhile. It was a life saver !!

Kaylee running the 30 yard dash. She came in first in the first heat, but fell during the 2nd heat because of her untied shoes. She was alittle sad, but was proud of her first run. YAY Kaylee. She is a pretty fast runner...she likes to sprint!!
Taylor loved this game...messing up some of the events. Oh well!! No one could get mad at her sweet little face.
