FUN IN UTAH....Part 3 of Christmas Vacation

The day after Christmas, we loaded the car and drove to Utah to celebrate the Holidays with the Johnson side of our family. We always love going to Utah and the drive after Christmas is always so nice because the girls have new toys and are still so excited!!

Once we got to Utah, the girls opened presents from Grandma Johnson and we just hung out with family. LOVE THESE TIMES!!

Oh..Our Nicole!! At the Family Christmas Dinner, Nicole missed the top step going down the stairs and tumbled all the way down, hitting her head on the cabinet at the bottom of the stairs. I heard her screaming, ran, and picked her up as she was walking up the stairs. Her head was bleeding all over. She had split it open-Warren called some doctor friends, and his sister, who is a paramedic/firefighter, looked at it. Everyone said we could go either way on stitches, so after alot of back and forth...we decided against stitches. We just kept it clean, bandaged, and covered. Poor Nicole had such a hard time sleeping that night...her head hurt so bad.

All the cousins...showing off their presents from the cousin gift exchange.

Uncle Steve got the movie "Planet Earth" for Christmas and the cousins loved watching it!

Kaylee loved showing everyone the movies on her IPOD.

I love sweet little Savannah. Taylor and Savannah are only about 2 months apart and it is fun watching them play together.

My girls love making cookies with Grandma and try to eat a lot of cookie dough while they help Grandma. Nicole is extremely tricking and would often sneak off with a spoonful of dough.

Our cousin Parker is the youngest of 5 kids and Nicole loves him. He lets her hold him, play with him, and feed him...without screaming or fussing. She LOVES this real baby.

Kaylee is very creative. She spent one day making a musical instrument called a "Macasso." She wrote music, and a fingering chart. She even taught me how to play it. As she told me,"It is one of the hardest instruments to play in all of Europe."

One of the highlights of our trip was sledding down the hill in Grandma's back yard. Taylor was a little worried, but slowly warmed up.

Aunt Jenny with her 2 kiddos - all red heads. LOVE THAT BEAUTIFUL HAIR!!

Me and my girls!!

Kaylee loved sledding with the young cousins. She enjoys being the oldest grand-daughter on the Johnson side of the Family.

The older cousins found a place to sled without a sleigh. They just went down on their tummies.

Taylor tried and tried to do it by herself, but had the most luck with Kaylee.

Nicole loves the snow....she loves to play in it, eat it, and throw it. She is such a silly girl.

She first makes a snowball...

Than she shoves it in her face...

The cold doesn't bother her at all. She'll even go outside barefoot in the freezing cold.

Nicole is such a trooper. She would sled down the hill, fall off her sleigh, get soaking wet, and walk back up the hill...eating snow as she went.

Here are the little 2 year old girls playing in the snow...Savannah, Taylor, and Aspen. Such cute girls!!

CHRISTMAS FUN - Part 2

Here are some pictures from the CRAZY women who loves to document everything...

My girls slept in until about 6am, but lucky for me my sister Mollie was sleeping in their room and kept them entertained until about 6:45. Not too BAD!! The girls were excited and Nicole (as you can tell in this picture) was a little nervous and unsure about the entire thing.

THE MOST EXCITED OF THEM ALL - KAYLEE!!

Taylor knew Santa was coming...but didn't quite understand everything. BUT, she knew that something exciting was going on!!

Kaylee's Stuff

Taylor loved her Polly Pocket Princess Castle

Nicole's Stuff

Kaylee's favorites...IPOD and American Girl Doll - Chrissa

Surprisingly, Taylor was very excited about her Princess Undies -she loved them!!

Taylor was so ready for the trampoline to be opened, but that won't happen until the Spring. She tried for quite awhile to open it up with her scissors.

Nicole's favorite - Polly Pocket Roller Coaster. She loves it!!

YAY!! Gift card to J. Crew - one of my favorite places to shop

Taylor and her Little Mermaid. She loves this Princess!!

We love Dora at our house, and now she comes as a grown up Teenage Doll.

Taylor got loads of Princess Mermaid Stuff, and she LOVES it!!

Loves for Kaylee...Nicole was so excited that Kaylee gave her a brand new baby doll.

I know, I know. Please don't judge me..I love this show. It makes me laugh and makes me happy. Warren and I will watch some of our favorite episodes together and we just laugh, and laugh. (Thank you Pat...your generous Christmas gift allowed me to splurge) And the car ride to Utah after Christmas, went by very fast. I watched the first and second season of friends - MY FAVORITE (Ross and Rachel get to together...Haven't seen those for years!!)

A Christmas Morning Nap - the best kind.

Kaylee spent a lot of time listening to her ipod and Aunt Mollie helped her get it all set up. The entire family is loving this IPOD. We listen to the music constantly.

Christmas Night the girls all slept in a room together and traded beds. Taylor felt so grownup sleeping in Nicole's bed, Nicole loved sleeping in Kaylee's comfy - tall bed, and Kaylee slept on the floor on Taylor's crib mattress. FUN TIMES!!

The next morning, we packed the car and drove to Utah. Time for more FUN!!
