My friend had this on her blog and I had alot of fun reading it - so I thought it would be fun and I was tagged. Here it goes:
1. What is your Hubby's name?Warren Kay
2. How long have you been married?9 years in May -CRAZY!!
3. How long did you date?We met in March, engaged in December, and married in May
4. How old is he?34 years old
5. Who eats more? There is no question about that-Warren! He is always hungry.
6. Who said "I Love You" first?Warren did. In fact, he said it way before I did (like a few months) I was a little scared of the whole thing. I had never said it to anyone and I wanted to make sure without a doubt. When Warren would say I love you, I would tell him-I am almost there or I am definitely falling. When I finally said it, I will never forget how it felt and what it meant to Warren.
7. Who is taller?Warren is 6'1" and I am 5' 6". His shoulder is at the perfect spot for my head. I love it!!
8. Who sings better?Well-I would have to say me. Warren has a pretty good singing voice, but would never admit it.
9. Who is smarter?Absolutely Warren-he is book smart, church smart, and doesn't fall for anything. I am very naive so we compliment each other very well. When I asked Warren, he looked at me, smiled, and said the right thing- "You are the smartest."
10. Whose temper is worse?I am sad to admit this, but it is me. Warren is so calm and collective and I lose my cool. It is something I am trying to work out. I am learning to take deep, deep breaths and count.
11. Who does the laundry? Are you kidding. I don't think I have ever seen Warren do laundry. In fact, Kaylee thinks it is my favorite thing to do.
12. Who does the dishes? We both do. Warren always does them on Sunday.
13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?I do- because it is the furthest from the girls. Yes, you read that correctly. Warren is nicer to them at night. He just opens the covers and they come right in bed. If they come to my side, I put them back in bed.
14. Who pays the bills?I do.
15. Who mows the lawn?I do and surprisingly love it. It is very relaxing and I can tune out everything. The girls run around screaming and I don't hear a thing except for the humming of the lawn mower.
16. Who cooks dinner?Me!! Sometimes I really like it and other times I can't think of anything. Any ideas?
17. Who drives when together?Warren because he knows the areas better than I do and I get lost...easily.
18. Who is more stubborn? We are both pretty stubborn- but I would have to say Warren is more so than me. Ha, ha, ha!!
19. Who is the first to admit they are wrong? It depends. Because we are both so stubborn-this one is always very interesting. But, I would have to say 50/50 because we always work things out and both of us admit our faults when needed.
20. Whose parents do we visit most?Mine because they are the closest. But, we do spend alot of time with Warren's family for longer periods of time.
21. Who proposed?Warren on Dec. 1, 1998. We went to a very nice dinner and after the dinner, we were walking around the grounds of the restaurant until he found the perfect spot. We were on a bridge when he knelt down and popped the question. We were both pretty emotional about the whole thing.
22. Who has more friends? We both have great friends and love to spend time with them. Surprisingly, we both keep in contact with alot of friends from highschool.
23. Who has more siblings? We both come from families of 5 children - that match perfectly in gender order and age. Warren is the oldest, followed by 3 sisters and than a brother. I am right in the middle. I have an older brother and sister and a younger sister and brother.
24. Who wears the pants in the family? We both do. I know what needs to be done with the family and I let Warren know what is going on-but we work together when needed.
10 years ago...I was a freshman at BYU majoring in possibly music, had just seen my future husband accompanying his father on guitar at a ward talent show and gone on our first date, and was enjoying my first Child Development class- which eventually became my major...sometimes I wish I would have stuck with music a little longer, but my nerves set in and I couldn't handle the pressure. Maybe one of these days.
