Blake's hands
Blake is so fascinated with his hands. When he was 14 weeks old, he discovered his hands. They were just flapping around and caught his eye. He spent forever staring at them.
Blake is now always watching his hands, putting them in his mouth, staring at them, and accidentally hitting himself in the face with them.

Blake's 4th Month
14 weeks - staring at hands and starting to grab at everything!! Including big sisters hair!!
14 weeks - He has started to cry when I leave the room. He also wants to look at people all the time. When Warren is holding him, he gets sad until Warren turns him around so Blake can look directly at him. Sometimes, when I am in the shower I have to sing to him because he can't see me. He will be crying and crying, but when I start singing - he stops and starts looking around for me. This distracts him long enough for me to get a quick shower.
17 weeks - Rolled over again 3 times in a row from his stomach to his back.
- This actually happened a couple of times - He squirms so much that while he is sleeping, he squirms out of his pants. I go in to check on him, and his pants are down at his ankles.
- I don't know why I don't have a picture of this, but we gave him his first haircut at 15 weeks. Warren did not like the mullet in the back - so he shaved it off. He wants it to grow in one length. He did keep the top long so we put it in a little Mohawk. I will take a picture of it soon because it is adorable.
Blake loves music!! When he is either really sleepy or wide-awake, Blake is always humming and cooing. Warren loves to come home and just get Blake giggling with silly songs. One time we were in the car and Blake was screaming. We turned on "Moves Like Jagger" and he stopped immediately.
At the end of this month, Blake was 22 inches long and 11 lbs 9.5 oz.
We sure do love this boy!!

Blake's 3rd Month
This is a little behind, but here is an update on Blake's 3rd month. He is growing and growing and getting cuter and cuter everyday.
When Blake was 11 weeks old, he rolled over from his stomach to his back over and over again. He has only done it a couple of times since, but he is slowly getting it. He just has to be in the mood.
Here are some quick stories about Blake's 3rd month:- Blake is most grumpy between 6-10am. He hasn't quite figured out what he wants. Sometimes
he sleeps from 6-10am. Sometimes he is up at 6am, back to sleep at 6:30, and up again at 7.
- Blake has the cutest the sneeze. He sneezes and than does a cute little hum.
- Blake started sleeping consistently from 11pm-5/6am at 13 weeks!! YAY!!
- Blake took off socially this month :
* When he was 12 weeks old, he woke up at 4am to eat and wanted to play. He was up for
about 1 hour. He was cooing, babbling, kicking, squirming, etc. Blake also had his first
smile at 10weeks old.

Blake loves to sit on Warren's lap/knees at night. He is most alert and just talks and talks. One night, Warren through a blanket on Blake's face and than pulled it off. Blake made the funniest sound - almost like a giggle.
Blake doesn't do this very much anymore. BIG TIME FROWNY FACE!! But, we sure did enjoy it while it lasted. I remember worrying about spoiling my little guy, but just like I thought - he would much rather play with you than snuggle. He started going through this little shift between 3 and 4 months.Friday, March 2, 2012

Seriously, from the beginning this silly girl loved accessories. She has also always loved books. She still loves to sit on the bottom stair with her purse and a pile of books. By this age, Taylor would still let me dress her and she would wear pants. Now one of her punishments is wearing pants.
Age 8 months - This silly girl loved to be outside and watch her sisters play. She also refused to wear shoes for a long time. Ironically, she now loves shoes!! When we go to Target, she loves to go by the shoe department. She also loves to help me pick out shoes. When I go shopping for shoes, she will find a pair, put it on, walk around in the highest high heels, and check herself out in the mirrors. I am actually really surprised at how well she can walk in 4 inch heels.
Taylor was only a couple of hours old in this picture. Kaylee was thrilled to have another little sister, and Nicole was fascinated with a real baby. They both loved their little sister!!
