INTRODUCING KAYLEE AS THE
MARCH HARE IN

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Awhile ago, Kaylee attended a musical theater camp where you spent about 3 hours everyday for one week learning songs and memorizing lines. On the first day, they did a little audition and Kaylee was cast as the March Hare. She was not very thrilled about it because she was a BOY!!

When she came home, we watched a few scenes of the Mad Hatter and March Hare and Kaylee quickly changed her mind. She loved how random and crazy he acted.

She had such a great time and it was a wonderful experience for her. She has caught the performing bug. Kaylee doesn't really like saying her lines (made her nervous), BUT she loved singing and dancing on stage.

Grandpa came to support Kaylee and we had a wonderful time with him. My girls love when Grandma and Grandpa come to visit.

A Purple Corvette

Warren loves car shows, especially HUGE ones with old hot rods. We attended a really big one a couple of weeks ago, and we will definately go back. One of the booths had a coloring contest, so all the girls entered. I had no idea what they were going to win, but it gave the girls something to do inside and out of the heat. Well, we got a phone call a few days after the car show and Taylor won for her age group. She won a $25 gift card to Toys R Us. Way to go Taylor.

She was so excited and loves her purple corvette. She is in a desperate search for a purple corvette and whenever she earns some money for pulling weeds or helping...she says, "Now, I go buy a purple corvette..Okay."

Summer Fun - We love the pool

I love the summer time, especially the pool. It exhausts the girls and they spend some days just in their swim suits...which cuts down on laundry. Nicole is doing swim lessons the entire summer and Kaylee joined the summer swim team. Nicole loves to swim and is learning alot. The best thing to watch is her trying to get a diving stick. Nicole just floats and has the hardest time getting her bum to go down, so her arms are stroking really hard under the water and her bum is up out of the water. She tries and tries. Eventually her teacher pushes on her little bum to get her to go down, and than Nicole pops out of the water with the stick in her hand and a huge smile. Her teachers love her CAN DO attitude, and silly personality. She really wants to learn.

My Little Fashionista of Swimming is also learning a ton during swim team. Her favorite strokes are free style and back stroke. Kaylee also likes to practice doing "loops." She has a beautiful back stroke...very graceful. This was taken before we bought an actual swim team swim suit. Kaylee didn't like how the beads on the side "slowed her down." So we searched until Kaylee found the perfect one.

Kaylee loves her flower swim cap, pink goggles, and pink swimsuit. I didn't even know we were making an "outfit", but Kaylee knew what she was doing. She needed everything to match. As Grandma Johnson says, "Kaylee has outfits, not just clothes."

Taylor is finally in the water this year. For the past 2 years, she would only walk around the pool with her purse and stroller. This year, she plays on the first 2 steps. She still hates to get her face wet, and you better not squirt her with water. She will glare at you for ALONG time.

One of the best things about our pool is Social Hour (more like HOURS) with friends. During the summer, I feel like I can catch up with all my friends. I am so grateful for such wonderful friends. When school is back in session and pool time is over, I go through friend withdrawals. So...I just soak up this time I have laughing, socializing, watching our kids play and grow, and just being with each other.

DANCE REVOLUTION

My girls love to have dance parties almost every single day. The other day a got a few pictures while they were dancing and having a rock concert.

Taylor does Ballet and loves to play Angelina Ballerina.

Nicole makes the BEST faces when she dances. She makes this face when she is dancing to Hip Hop music.

This is very typical. Kaylee is a ballerina and loves to dance to classical music. Her favorite is Swan Lake and songs from Pride and Prejudice.
