What is wrong with me...please don't answer that

I love blogging and enjoy reading everyone's blogs, but MY GOODNESS!! I can't keep up these days. I don't know what is wrong with me, but I am committing to myself right now to try and do better. At the end of December, my computer decided to "poop" out on me along with our internet. I was able to use my phone and Warren's IPAD, but not my computer. I am now typing on Warren's ancient computer, but it WORKS!! YAY...

So, I think I will be back for alittle while, well atleast until summer when life seems to get even more crazy...

Here are some quick pictures and updates of my CRAZY girls!!

Our silly OLIE -
1) This is Nicole's favorite thing to do - act like she is Dead. I know. It is pretty morbid, but she is using this silly thing to her advantage. For example, "Hey Nicole. It is time to go to bed. " BANG!! Nicole collapses to the floor, her tongue hanging out to one side, and her body is completely limp. She has died on us again and I can't help but laugh at her. Pretty soon our silly, dead Nicole is laughing hysterically and she has postponed bedtime AGAIN!
2) Nicole is fascinated with the story of King Laban and Nephi. If someone misbehaves or is being mean to her, she says, "I cut your head off because you are MEAN." Maybe I should have rephrased the reason why Laban was killed?
3) See the Cat Shirt Nicole is wearing in the above picture. I get to see this shirt almost everyday along with the pair of jeans she is wearing. Nicole is slightly addicted to this outfit. Saying she loves it, is an understatement. SHE CRAVES THIS SHIRT, SHE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THIS SHIRT, SHE IS INFATUATED WITH THIS SHIRT. I basically have to pry it off of her in the night to immediately wash it because if I put it in the hamper, my sweet middle daughter will find it and wear it again. DIRT OR SMELLS DO NOT BOTHER THIS ONE AND I LOVE THIS ABOUT NICOLE.

Princess Taylor -
This girl is in love with anyone with red hair. Her favorite characters are Little Mermaid, Jessie, Rosetta (From Tinkerbell Movies), and she has just discovered Strawberry Shortcake. What do they all have in common? RED HAIR!!
A couple of days ago, we had a conversation like this:
I asked her, "What color is your hair?"
She said "Red."
"Taylor. Your hair is not red. It is Blonde or Golden." I told her.
"No!!" said Taylor. "I want red hair. You need to color my hair red, NOW!! " A couple of seconds later, she yelled "Mom. You aren't doing it!!"

This girl definitely knows what she wants, but she is such a sweetheart. One second she will impatiently demand, "Why you not do it!! " and than a couple of seconds later she will say to me, "Mom. I love you. You are a sweat heart." (I didn't miss spell that. She actually called me a "sweat heart." But, she realized what she said and started laughing and than told me I was a "sweetheart." )

Giggly Kaylee-
Kaylee loves to laugh, laugh, laugh. She will get laughing so hard, she hits her self in the head to stop herself and than take a deep breath. Oh, how I wish I could hysterically laugh like Kaylee.

Kaylee loves to dress up at school for their "different" occasions. This is Kaylee's Viking Costume from Viking Day. This was her favorite day because she is partly Icelandic and loves to tell people she is a Viking.

Here is a quick story about Kaylee. One day she came home from school and told me she has a "slave" at school. She explained to me that their is a boy in her class that does everything for her. If she needs a water bottle opened, he does it for her. If she drops her pencil, he picks it up for her. If she needs to get her lunch box when they eat in their classroom, he gets it for her. She has never asked him to do this...he just does it. I know this little boy and he is such a sweet little thing. One day I was in Kaylee's classroom and her pearl bracelet fell off. She couldn't fix it and neither could I. This little boy came up to Kaylee and told her he would fix it. He proceeded to put it around her wrist and clip it back on.

I promise...more to come!!

CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES

I love Christmas and all of the chaos that comes along with the Holidays. I love how excited the girls get and I love the feeling I have when Christmas Day arrives. Isn't it funny how even at the age of 32 years old, I STILL BELIEVE IN THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS.

Warren took Kaylee and Nicole skiing on Christmas Eve, so Taylor and I made cookies, dinner, wrapped presents, and go everything ready for the night. Mollie and Paul came to our house this year and we had a wonderful Italian Dinner followed by the traditional Christmas story.

Nicole was our beautiful Mary and Warren played Joseph. The couch made a wonderful stable.

Kaylee was our angel while I played a shepherd with Coco as my sheep. This picture was taken right before Coco decided to go potty on our Narrator, Mollie.

Paul was our Wiseman and Taylor was our WisePrincess.

Maple Syrup and Cinnamon sticks for our lovely Baby Jesus.

Our Family Christmas Manger Scene

Our family had Mollie and Paul for Christmas this year and the girls went to "Color Me Mine" and painted some HUGE cereal bowls. Mollie and Paul loved them!!

Milk and Cookies for Santa

Early Christmas Morning...I can be so mean. I make the girls wait until atleast 6am. This year they woke us up at 6:30 and were patient enough for me to take a picture of them before they went downstairs. THEY ARE EXCITED!!

BIG PRESENT THIS YEAR - A Nice Kitchen from Santa. The girls love it, especially the blender and tea pot.

Kaylee's haul - her favorite : "Buzz" the pillowpet and new tea set.

Nicole's Haul - Her favorite : Penguin Pillowpet named "Snowy"

Taylor's Haul - Her Favorite "Rosetta" The flower fairy from Tinkerbell.

The girls played with their gifts from Santa before they opened the rest of the goods under the tree.

Taylor gets to go skiing for the first time this year. So, Warren got her some skis, a helmet, and a warm hat. She is so excited and can't wait for our annual ski trip.

My Haul - Santa brought me some awesome shoes and a water ski. I am so excited about my very own water ski. YAY!!

Warren's haul - His favorite - His brand new skis.

We loved seeing Warren's HUGE skis compared to Taylor's little, tiny skis.

YAY!! Jessie the yodeling Cowgirl

Nicole's face was so awesome when she opened this present. She kept saying,"Oh!! Oh!! Look..."

Kaylee desperately wanted a ski outfit for her doll Chrissa and she got one....

Nicole picked out a great present for Kaylee - an owl webkinz. Kaylee named it "Hedwig."

I don't know what the fascination is with these Zoo Pets, but Nicole loves them.

Kaylee finger knitted this beautiful pink scarf for me. She worked so hard on it and I love it.

On Christmas Day, we left for Utah. We arrived in Utah at about 2 in the morning, but the drive wasn't that bad. Taylor woke up once screaming her head off and saying, "I need Jake. I need Mom. I need Coco. I need Kaylee. I need Grandma. I need Grandpa. I need Dada. I need Colie. I need my bed. I can't see my bed!!" Warren and I moved her car seat into the front and once she was up front, she was fine. Warren and I watched "Glee" on the ride up. It kept us VERY entertained.

Uncle Steve got out his Toy Story stuff when we saw him in the morning. The girls had fun playing "Toy Story" with Steve.

Grandma Johnson got some crafts for all of the grandkids to work on together. (Kaylee loves her new white watch from Grandma.)

Grandma also got matching jackets for all of the girl cousins close in age. Aren't they cute?!

Ally, Taylor, Savannah, and Aspen...All born within 10 months of each other. The babies of the family are all going to be 4!

Taylor really "Bedazzled" her dolls.

Fort fun in Grandma's room.

The girls loved to sing "The Wheels on the Bus" . Nicole loves her cousin Ally.

We spent Monday night with TJ's family. Of course, Nicole loves Parker. She wanted to hold him THE ENTIRE TIME!!

A McVey get together is never fully complete unless we are playing some sort of card game.

Madison, Kaylee, Abby, and Nicole - I love watching these girls play.

Here we are....I don't think my family can ever take a serious picture.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
