Taylor had her very
FIRST birthday party this year, and she
LOVED it!! Our theme was a "Fairy" birthday party, but there were My Little Ponies, Princesses, Mermaids, and Batman.

I never buy the girls sugary cereal, but when it is their birthday - my motto is "The More Sugar the Better." It is always fun to see what they pick for their "Birthday Cereal." Taylor saw all the sprinkles on the cover of this Fruit Loops box and had to have it. She enjoyed every bite and had numerous bowls every morning.

Taylor anxiously watched her cake baking in the oven. She was determined to have a yellow cake with chocolate frosting (but oops...mommy forgot the chocolate frosting)

I distracted Taylor with sprinkles, so the Chocolate wasn't missed. But, after her birthday party she needed to have a chocolate fix and got into Warren's "hidden" chocolate. This girl LOVES chocolate....especially Dark Chocolate with caramel.

Unfortunately her birthday was one of the coldest, snowiest days I have ever had the misfortune of being a part of. It was like -30 outside with windchill, but the party carried forward and a bunch of 3-4 year olds arrived for her special day.
(Another good thing - school was canceled so Nicole and Kaylee could help me get everything ready for the party)

I had to post this picture because it cracks me up. Jake and Taylor are good buddies and sweet Jake was the only boy. Taylor HAD to invite him and he was a good sport. He loved his magic fairy wand, which was also a pretty powerful gun at certain times.

All of the beautiful princesses loved having Batman around!!

I just love this age. They are pretty entertaining, especially while opening presents. Once the opening of the gifts starts, everyone gets so excited. They can't contain their excitement and have to help you open their gift while shouting to you what they got
just for you.

Birthday spankings - I can't believe Taylor didn't run. She normally runs away, but she was so HIGH on "IT IS MY BIRTHDAY AND NOBODY IS
TAKING MY SPECIAL DAY," she just stood there and smiled.

Taylor is such a joy to our family. She keeps us on our toes and loves attention. Her older sisters love her
ALOT -
which means our little "Princess, Mermaid, Fairy" generally has her 2 sisters wrapped around her little finger. (Which is just fine with me)
For all of you Musical Buffs out there - this picture and day made me think of a song. If I were there with you, I would bust out singing:
Sisters, Sisters
There were never such devoted sisters
Never had to have a chaperone "No, sir"
I'm there to keep my eye on her.
Caring
Sharing
Every little thing that we are wearing
All kinds of weather
We stick together
The same in the rain or sun
Three diff'rent faces
But in tight places
We think and we act as one
Those who've
Seen us
Know that not a thing could come between us
Many men have tried to split us up but no one can
Lord help the mister
Who comes between me and my sister
And Lord help the sister
Who comes between me and my man.
JUST A QUICK SIDE NOTE - LOVE THIS MUSICAL!! And Kaylee and I love quoting this line
whenever we want to be goofy,
"How about those deep brown eyes. No the blue, No the brown. No the blue, No the brown."
