Easter

 I love Easter Morning!!  My girls were looking forward to Easter for weeks.  We bought their outfits about a month before Easter, so they were anxious.  Easter is such a wonderful time of year.  I love the flowers outside and the feeling of peace, hope in the air.  I am the choir director and I was excited to perform the songs we had been working on for months.  What a blessing for me to be able to prepare for Easter months before the actual event.

Blake was up long enough for us to get this picture with his basket.  He loved his stuffed animal blanket.  This boy loves blankies.  He likes to chew on them, put them over his face, throw them, etc.

Nicole loves the color green and when she saw this dress, she didn't want any other one.

Taylor was in love with her shoes!!  She also wanted to wear brown so her eyes looked really brown.  This girl has a sense of style all her own.

Kaylee is getting to the age where she needs to and wants to have input on what she wears.  She wants to actively sure online and in stores for something she loves.  She loved this skirt and the color of the shirt.

My two Men...love them.

Just when I thought family pictures were getting easy, Blake has started the crazy family picture phase over.  The girls could not stop looking at him.  I do love how Nicole is looking at her little brother...cute, cute.

As usual, we did like 10 easter egg hunts.  The girls wanted to keep hiding them.  Kaylee would get pretty frustrated because she was not allowed to pick up the ones that were in plain sight.  But, Taylor was pretty clever because she would get the ones in plain sight and find the ones that were hidden.  Looks like next year, everyone will get to participate in the "HARD" Easter egg hunt.

Every time the kids get candy for a holiday, Warren goes through it with them.  He organizes the "trade" of candy.  Basically, he says "One for you and one for me."  It is pretty funny.  The girls just laugh and actually enjoy giving him some of their candy. 

We tried something new this year...glow in the dark Easter Egg hunt.  You put glow sticks in the eggs.  The girls had such a great time and Blake was pretty fascinated with all of the lights.
