This year was the first time the girls actually paid attention during our Family Nativity. Kaylee was so excited and worked hard all day with her Aunts and Grandma making things, and gathering items for costumes. Here is our story:

Mary wandering around Jerusalem looking for a safe place. (Nicole did not want us to put her baby in the manger, so she carried it everywhere she went).

The angel appearing to the Shepards in their field. Kaylee has always thought the inside of her jacket looked like a sheep, so it was a perfect costume (inside out of course) for Taylor - our sheep.

After our Nativity, we played out Samuel the Lamanite. Uncle John was the perfect Samuel. The girls loved throwing balls at him and of course we tried hard not to hit him.

After our performances, we opened one present each and looked at some of my Mom's Christmas books. Taylor loves to lay down with a book - it is hilarious to hear her little voice behind the big books pretending to read her "gook."
It was a fun night for all!!
